Christmas! T'is the season to be jolly 🎶 at one of HK's renowned culinary institutions
It was a delight to have one of our annual Christmas lunches with a VIP client just before the Christmas holidays began in earnest. What better place to dine than one of HK's renowned culinary institutions; no other than Jimmy's Kitchen, in Central.
Choices were available from their specially devised Christmas Lunch Menu ranging from a lovely festive terrine of ham, asparagus and other fresh vegetables, to cured Scottish Salmon with pickled herrings (featured in photos below) to roasted parsnip soup for starters. Our chosen mains were: traditional Roast Turkey with honey glazed ham, roast potatoes and vegetables, accompanied by bread sauce/ cranberry sauce; grilled salmon with new potatoes and seasonal vegetables with hollandaise sauce; for vegetarians, their marvelous Indian mixed vegetable curry (masala).

Save the best till last: apart from the traditional and delectable Christmas pudding served with fresh cream and brandy butter, we all shared the Baked Alaska (for 4 persons): "ice-cream & fruit sponge cake coated in Italian meringue & lightly browned then flambéed at your table" - perfect!
