Go to GOGYO - the best place for Japanese snacks, ramen and chilled Kirin beer

For all you "hip and cool epicureans" out there, apparently this is the place to be! Whichever evening of the week you past by this japanese gastropub, there seems to be a queue of hungry foodies and very satisfied diners and drinkers.

I often pay a visit to GOGYO with one of my BFF's to chillax after a particularly long day or hectic work week, highly recommended :)

Here are some of our favourite snacks, which pair extremely well with a glass of refreshingly chilled japanese beer. Cheers! In this case, Kirin Ichiban Frozen Beer, with a refreshing frozen foam topping.

Edamame goes exceptionally well with the frozen beer and such a simple, but tasty and healthy (click on the link to find out how healthy they are) snack too!

Ok, after that, we move onto the irresistible "naughty but oh so nice" Okonomiyaki お好み焼き^? fries

You cannot go to Gogyo without having these delicious Skewers, 3 in total: Smoked egg wrapped in bacon (to perfection, an explosion of flavour on your palate); mushrooms wrapped in grilled wagyu beef; juicy zucchini and eggplant; dipped into the raw egg to add the little bit more richness to the flavours

Finally, we managed to finish off this scrumptious feast with the kurobuta pork (moist and melt in your mouth)
