Siam - An unforgettable Thai Experience
Sawasdee kha! สวัสดี
On the last day of my stay at the Siam Kempinski Hotel in Bangkok, Thailand, I was fortunate enough to enjoy the exquisite cuisine at NICHE. Hats off to you both, fabulous chefs, James Norman - Executive Chef and Carlo Valenziano - Executive Sous Chef) friendly restaurant team, amazing service and also I had the great pleasure of meeting the Director of F&B, Sebastian de Vizcaya!
I happily recall how I had to leave the hotel for the airport by 1pm and it was already 12 noon, the kitchen was not yet open; however, they exceeded my expectations by opening up the kitchen early and cooking up my delicious lunch just for me.. I was far from disappointed, take a look:
Freshly baked bread with Thai Sesame and Japanese Teriyaki Dipping Sauces
Delicious soft shell crab coated in a lightly seasoned crispy batter with a touch of lime and a fragrant wasabi sauce
Succulent Kurobuta pork loin with roasted garlic and wasabi sauce in a honey tinged teriyaki sauce
To round off this exquisite feast very nicely is a Thai Creme Brulee with Pineapple and Lemongrass - asian fusion dessert at it's best - loved it
One more thing, NICHE most definitely deserves to be awarded their first Michelin Star - Good Luck and I shall certainly be back with family this coming November 2017. ทำได้ดี
